Expd'' boater/DIESEL MECHANIC looking to crew!

I have been recently laid off from my current employer and am seeking a position as a crew

member on a power or sailboat. I have no particular prefrence; Pleasure cruise, delivery or

fishing boat is fine. I am flexible. Recently, I have been logging my time on the boats in

preparation to further my education and career at sea and I would like to substantially

increase my knowledge, hours and experience. I am enthusiastic, competent, hardworking and

knowledgeable around boats power and sail, but I know there is also alot left to learn.
I am a qualified boat mechanic with experience in working on diesel and have taken courses

in Navigation, piloting, and Seamanship and received good test scores.
I have letters of recommendation and I also have general boating and sailing experience off

the coast of Southern California. I currently own a 30 foot sportfisher and a 25 foot

sailboat and have crewed on cruises and races on boats much larger than mine.
I can pull a line, I can turn a wrench, I can plot a course and I am a good

conversationalist!
