Looking to Crew: Oz to Asia (or NZ)
Hello,
I’ve just joined after a little browsing and thought I’d get posting ASAP.
I’m going to be in Darwin, Australia around the end of September and I’m looking to crew on a yacht to anywhere in Asia
OR
I could sail from somewhere else in Australia to New Zealand or Islands in the South Pacific/Solomon Sea.
More for the experience than anything and I have time on my hands before Christmas.
I’ve had basic crewing experience on barge boats and on yachts in the Lake District in the UK.
I’m 28 years old, male, 6’3” tall, healthy, easy to get along with and a pretty good cook. I have a UK passport and travel insurance.
If ‘hitching’ a sail is on the cards then great, but otherwise sharing some costs could be negotiated.
