Looking to crew from shanghai to N America

I'm currently riding my bicycle from Portugal to the Pacific coast in China. It's been a 10 month trip, and I'm looking to catch a ride back to the US on a boat instead of packing my bike up in a box and putting it on a plane. I'm an American citizen, and hope to leave in mid-November, willing to catch a ride to any port in N America. I can help, and can pay some cash for passage, although my funds will be limited as I'm at the end of my budget, but I am definitely willing to pay. I have my bicycle, which takes up as much space as a bicycle, but other than that I'm extremely flexible. I don't have any experience working on a boat, but I'm a fast learner and am really enthusiastic about crossing the Pacific on a boat.

This is a first attempt at finding passage, and I really am hungry for information. If you can help me out or if you can point me in some good directions, that would be awesome. I'm not interested in paying $150 a day for a luxury cruise aboard a freighter, which is the most common way of going about this.
