Hi. I would love to crew locally in NYC. I have some experience.

I just saw your post, as I was trying to resolve my own dilemma. I'm on NJ shore, and am looking to buy a boat very soon. Zoning in on a Catalina 350. The only hesitation is getting crew often enough. I have plenty of friends, but few who like or have time to sail. Worse, my wife has a real seasickness problem (but is supportive of my hobby!) and I can only get my kids on the boat so many times. I'd rather not single hand this boat unless I have to. Boat would be docked in Sandy Hook Bay, or Barnegat Bay. Looking for one or more crew who have at least some basic experience. If you or anyone else would be interested in being on my "crew list" next season, just post it here. There's no cost, so if you like to sail in this area, and are in need of a boat to do it, let me know. I'm hoping to make my decision on the boat within a week or so, but I'd welcome responses even after that.
