Racing Crew Wanted - Chicago

Hi Everyone- I have crewed on keelboats my whole life and have finally bought a boat to race! It's a Dehler 34' Optima 101 - neat boat with a new main on order from North Sails. Looking for a few nice people to race with me next season (2012) on Wednesday evenings and the major Chicago regattas (3-4). No experience necesary. Would love to have you sail with me out of Monroe Harbor. Let me know if you have an interest -

I live in Peoria. If you were going on a longer race or trip I would be interested in coming up to join you.

I have a Santana 21' and it would be fun to take it up the river to Chicago some time. I wouldn't want to do it alone though and it'll be hard for me to find someone to go with when they discover that they won't be able to get on Facebook while on my boat.

The Santana's are neat boats. I'll let you know if we do longer races but mostly we run around the buoys on Wednesday nights. Thanks for your reply though.
