Berth Wanted - Carib to North East

I''m a 35 year-old man and have been sailing my own 33'' sloop around Long Isl. and Block Isl. sounds for the past few years. No off shore sailing, but I did spend a year in the New Bedford scallop fleet (two to three week trips). Looking for some off shore sailing experience as I contemplate setting out in my own boat. Willing to pay my own air travel, but need a fair amount of warning.
