Female Cruising Companion Wanted

Financially secure professional EU Caucasian ( Dutch) residing in Japan is seriously seeking a sailing companion / life partner.

I am a 49 yrs. 6 ft., 75 kg old young looking divorced,TEXT planning to retire in 5-6 yrs. to live aboard and leisurely sail around the world.

Currently having a 53 ft. aluminum sloop, with all the whistles and bells, built with a due date of spring 2004.

Looking for a cheerful, sporty and down to earth companion willing to relocate to Japan to break in the boat and the relationship prior to casting off the landlines and exploring the world together.

Sailing experience would be nice but not essential, willingness to learn and positive outlook on life is.

Only those serious in seeking a long-term sailing adventure with a full life are invited to reply to my ad at dutch@gw7.gateway.ne.jp

anniel-

You are aware that the post you're responding to is over three years old, and it is very likely that he has set sail already.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Smile Ahoy DOG!!!!!!

I was gettin worried about you. I was thinking you are spending way to much time on yer boat. You know, Sailors thought manatees were part demale and part fish, Way to much time at sea. Then I read your reply, whew, I was relieved.

I wish I were spending more time on my boat...but the long cold dark of winter has settled in up in New England, and my poor boat is on the hard, awaiting the return of spring....
