Taking a Sabre 38 from Ft Lauderdale to southern Maine and so considering taking on additional crew.
Departure date on or about Monday 04/26/04, duration 10 to 15 days depending on weather and routing.
These are non paying positions, it will be the responsibility of each crewmember to get themselves to and from the boat. Additionally, each shall share equally in the cost of food, beverage and other provisions, this and ground/air transportation is your only cost.
Depending on weather & time constraints, potential crew jump Off (or On) points are:
Charleston, SC (though doubtful)
Beaufort, NC
Norfolk, VA
Cape May, NJ
New York Harbor
Newport, RI
Portland, ME

I will not consider anyone seriously who does not take this seriously enough to provide a bio and resume. Both may be brief and don''t have to be four pages long. The bio at the least should indicate your age, health, special dietary needs, and whether or not you suffer from mal de mar. Sailing resume should include any special talents and skills on the water such as cooking at 45 degrees, DR, celestial navigation, diesel mechanics,
rigging, Ham, etc.
This trip will hopefully be about having a good time in addition to actually getting the boat to its destination. No offshore experience is required, male or female, a couple too would be considered along with individuals equally.
