Looking for Crew:

Mexico, puerto Aventuras to Cuba.

Leaving early - mid february when the weather is good.

I am a 33 year old dutch guy on a 32ft Rawson. It is not a luxury yaght and i dont pay, but you get a free trip :)

Depending on your demand for space, i could take 1-3 people.

No skills required.

I guess the sail trimming skills is not needed for this voyage. :)

Only the wake me up if you see a big boat we might hit or the boat stops sailing the right direction skill is enough.

extra skills that reduce the frequency of waking up are of course a bonus.

You all like to be cynical and feel so great about yourself for thinking you know it all better. My last trip i did 170miles in 27 hours single handed, sleeping and waking up every 15 minutes. What makes you think i cannot do it with an inexperienced crewmember then ? It would just feel more safe to have someone on watch all the time in a busy channel like this. (or better: it would be rather stupid to do so without)

I found someone already, so you guys go play with yourself again.

Hi Arjen,

We are a New Zealand couple (29 yrs) backpacking through Central/South America - currently in Mexico. We are looking to sail to and spend a little bit of time on any of the Caribbean islands - Puerto rico, Dom republic, Cuba, Haiti, Galapagos etc etc.

We don't have much sailing experience between us, but are very easy going - happy go lucky people, can cook well and I can fix almost anything - help out with boat maintenance etc. Happy to learn/help out with what ever crew duties as necessary and share food costs etc.

We are currently in Oaxaco, Mexico and can be on the Caribbean cost in a matter of weeks or even sooner if you are in a hurry to go?
