i wear a bathing suit cover up dress -- is like a huge t shirt--to bed so i can appear clothed in case of emergency...those happen and i donot like answering in mid of nite nekkid

I couldn't help but notice that the opening "GoodOldBoat" posting showed boat photos that all had open exposed cockpits. Much of the worry about weather exposure and extra protective clothing can be satisfied with a good bimini with side panels or spalsh guards. 'take care and joy, Aythya crew

myt formosa has a sofa set up in the cockpit--wide transom with a big set of cushions--is exposed----but is able to be used as a sleep place during watches....use a decent throw and is alll goood---even without a bimini...
