I couldn't help but notice that the opening "GoodOldBoat" posting showed boat photos that all had open exposed cockpits. Much of the worry about weather exposure and extra protective clothing can be satisfied with a good bimini with side panels or spalsh guards. 'take care and joy, Aythya crew

We often sleep head-next-to-feet in really hot weather in our queen birth

It's cooler, with more room for air to move, than shoulder-to-shoulder.

Yes, wash your feet first!

We also carry a large slow-turning room fan as a ceiling fan substitute. It uses very little electricity on low. We use it more than the AC. I've considered modifying it into a ceiling fan more than once, but there simply isn't the clearance.

We've had a few emails noting that the article does not match the header.

Why this is so is a mystery to me and given the timelapse I'm not sure I can come up with a solution other than deleting the thread, which I do not want to do. It's a good thread, it's a good article. Only the header is incorrect.

If it can be sorted, it will be.

Ah..hang on...here's a thought.......
