Adriatic or the Caribbean

There is an item listed on e bay, and the sellers gave the following editorial
"The Adriatic has the Caribbean beat hands down. It is far prettier, far more interesting, far more secure, far more friendly, far more fun and far less expensive, has far more pleasant (and great) restaurants and for more beautiful people."
Do others have this impression, experience, how is it to cruise in the Adriatic?

Adriatic or the Caribbean

Like any other type of travel-agent advertising...It is somewhat true, somewhat false, entirley subjective and very geared to seperating your from your money.

Yes, the adriatic is a nice place. It has its problems and its highlights. Same as anywhere else.

Find whether the surounding geography you want to visit and experience i better suited to the carib or the adriatic and go with it. They are both worth doing eventually. Just like New Zealand, The Whitsundays and half a million other excellent cruising grounds.

Oh. The one thing I would not believe is the bit about it being cheaper. Nowhere is really cheaper. There are just different things that need paying for.
