Fischers have a reputations for very high quality. Motorsailors in general have the reputation to be rather slow under sail and not at all good in light wind. Depending on where you are going to cruise it may not matter. Most people I know who cruise any distance on L Mich motor a lot of the time anyways.

I have a deep draft Nauticat 33, with modified fin keel and skeg hung rudder. Compared to Irwin 38s, IP 44s and Catalina 31s, 34s & 36's I have sailed on, I am very satisfied with the sailing abilities of my boat. She can do hull speed under sail only and motorsail at 9 knots with her turbo 90 hp Lehman.

thanks for your replys guys, just a quick note before I run out the door and drive a little over an hour to work another day for "THE MAN" for 10 hours... blah blah I know.
My interest in the motorsailers is headroom and comfort,I hope not to be in any hurry once I get to this point, this summer I hope to do a little sailing on Lake Champlain, and the Maine coast.
good day
