Gonzalo to hit Bermuda next as a Cat 3

Quote:
The Bermuda Weather Service said to expect 27 hours of tropical storm force winds beginning on Thursday, with 8 hours of hurricane force winds expected on Friday.
If the above comes to pass they are going to get right tonking.

Still they will have a bit more time to strip off sails and canvas etc.

Cat 3 is a nasty storm. With Bermuda only 600 miles away I'm keeping an eye on it too. Though Mr. Noaa is not posting anything here and it should head off to the northeast. I remember one storm that doubled back and caused a little mayhem one year. Good luck to those in Bermuda. May be some sailors heading south out in the Atlantic too. Hope they good some weather reporting abilities on board.
