nblanton is on a distinguished road
around the world with fun and adventure

Southern Magic is a full keel bluewater cruising boat. She is fully equipped for long term cruising and made for long term cruising.

Iím formulating plans now for leisurely around the world trip.

I plan to leave in about a year, go through the Caribbean to Central America, through the Panama Canal going west to the South Seas. The plan is to not over plan but go to the next most beautiful island. There will be some long passages maybe as long as twenty to thirty days at sea. Safety will always be the key and there will be a lot of island hopping and short sails. This entire trip may take three to five years. Crew can stay for one or more legs as you wish. I hope to always stay in the warm latitudes, not to far from the Equator. I am in love with sailing and cruising - the where is less important to me than the how.

I will try to update this page from time to time. I currently live aboard in southwest Florida. Iím beginning early to talk with potential crew so we can determine compatibility before we set off.
