GRIP resolution from MaxSea

Considering to purchase the MaxSea for navigation and planning.

Does anybody have the idea about the resolutioin of the weather information provided by MaxSea?
1 degree x 1 degree?
or higher? lower?

Does the resolution depends on area? Is the weather resolution of Europe and North America better than Asia?

Thanks in advance!

You may also want to take a look at this (unless you are somehow restricted to MaxSea): http://www.fugawi.com/web/

The software (look under products at Marine ENC) also supports GRIB data from NOAA (or perhaps elsewhere as well).

Sincerely,

Do you mean GRIB resolution? I don't believe the data varies all that much from brand to brand.... as most of it is based on the same government supplied data.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Sorry, guys. It's "GRIB"!

I think the weather information is not just overlay on the e-Chart, but for weather routing calculation purpose as well.

Does there any commercial source provide GRIB in more deail resolution? Like 10KMx10KM, but not by interpolation.

Thanks again.
