What have sailing Trans-Atlantic and living in Afghanistan have in common?

What have 'Sailing the Atlantic', 'Expeditions to Antarctica', and 'Life as a humanitarian aid worker in Afghanistan, Iraq, Kosovo,...' have in common?

I wrote a blog about the people I met in my travel, about living under the threat of a gun, being ambushed in Burundi, and lovely sailing days in the Caribbean. It is all about the road being more important than the journey...

I would love to have feedback on this blog.

The travel blog (the most recent posting is the ARC2006 transatlantic log) you can find on:

For those interested, raw video footage and some pictures of a 2-months yacht delivery trip with Persuader Too (a Beneteau 57), from Port Hamble (UK) to the BVI can be found on:

Wishing you safe journeys,
