I am looking at the purchase of a 30'' sloop in Guatemala. I need to get it to Puerto Rico. Any advice on the safety of the Belize/Guatemala/Honduras area? I''''ve heard some horror stories, but a recent update would be very helpful. My current plan would be to hop along the Honduras coast and then a long hard slog to Jamaica. I can''t see anyother way.
