When to go ?

I have found Jimmy Cornell''s books, World Cruising Handbook and World Cruising Routes to have valuable info on when to go and what route to take, and what to expect. He also has a website www.noonsite.com with updates.

I don''t know where you will be starting from, but those of us in Seattle usually leave in August. Are you going straight to the South Pacific, to Hawaii first, or down the coast to Cabo before jumping off to the South Pacific?

If you could use the traditional weather plotting charts it would be simple;however, another El Nino is rearing its head out in the Pacific and the weather is not what its supposed to be!We are starting down the slippery slope of CHANGE
make no plans take it as it comes be prepared
for ANYTHING!!!!!
