Sailing on Lake Huron
A few pictures from Saturday afternoon sailing on Lake Huron. Winds were SW about 10 kts or so and the lake was flat. Sorry in advance for the quality of the photos, all I had was my cell phone.
I was out with my son, Slim Shady. He was pretending to study for his exams. I was pretending to know what I was doing.

We went by the Highlander Sea. They had the sails up a few minutes later, but they were too far away for a picture by then.

A nice looking ketch, I wasn't envious. That was later when I came alongside the 36 foot Nonsuch.

This is looking south to the source of the St. Clair River. Canada on the left and US on the right, just like our politics.

Brings back memories
The best sailing we've done was on Lake Huron. I recall running before a strong north wind surfing down 10 ft waves. What a rush.
