Alligator-Pungo Canal

For those heading south down the ICW this fall, they are dredging in the canal at the western (Pungo) end. Be sure to hold to the center of the channel until you have to go around the dredge. They were monitoring channel 16 when I went through.

Just hanging in New Bern for now. If the guy buying the Dana in Oriental wants me to buddy boat with him to get it up to the Potomac at the end of the month, I'll probably stay in the lower Chesepeake till time to head south though. If not, I'll just stay in NC till I head south.

Doubt I'll go north of the Potomac, unless I decide to go to the Annapolis Boat Show. If you're still planning on going south, could certainly meet up somewhere along the way.
