Elizabeth City Rose Buddy Fred Fearing Died

I've met the man a few times as I live here but I'll leave it to all you ICW cruisers who have enjoyed the hospitalty in Elizabeth City to comment on the co-founder of the Rose Buddies.

I got to meet him this year and thought he was a very gracious person. I'm sure he'll be missed by the many "regulars" who come through every year. God bless him.

Met him while passing through back in July. Wonderful man, truly one of the inspirations of EC.

We saw Fred two weeks ago as we were southbound out of the Dismal Swamp. Elizabeth City is full of kind and gracious people and Fred was a leader among them. He will be missed, but I'm sure that his legacy will continue to make Elizabeth City one of our favorite cruising stops,-Aythya crew
