Space Shuttle Launch Anchorage

Looking for recommendation on closest/best anchorage area to view the upcoming space shuttle launch? (an acceptable overnight anchorage, 5ft draft)

Can't help with anchorage, but......

I used to work on Space Shuttle hardware and saw a night launch 20 years ago up close and it was one of the coolest things I have ever seen. I'm jealous. Have fun.

Hey...right off the Titusville muni marina is a good anchorage and a great spot for watching the shuttle. Here's a shot a few seconds after launch and before the sound hit us!

Nice one!

I hope to be in the Pacific in 2012 for one of the two solar eclipses that year, so I empathize entirely!
