Hudson Profiled on PBS Program Tonight

Bill Moyers has a two part series running on the Hudson River tonight and tomorrow (Tues/Wed) for a total of 4-hours..."America''s
River." Should be of value to cruisers. Airs on channel 13 in NY area.

Part 2 airs tonight, Wed. Part 1 was nice historical portrait with some environmental issues. Got caught up in the "art" aspects a bit too much for the mariner in me. Part 2 should hopefully be more "nautical."

Well, overall, I''d give it a C. Watch the reruns for the pretty pictures. The script was not well organized, no new information, very little detail, proportionately, on the maritime history of the River, and under the usual level of performance you''d expect from Bill Moyers.
