Smile Alchemy single hander ok

Was rescued today by Russian ship 120 miles SE of Nassau .He is doing well, Talked to him for for about 20 minutes. seems to be in good spirits considering the circumstances. Thanks for the prayers everyone! I got the EPIRB call this morning. Thanks to the USCG and Freighter crew for the assisting him. Not sure what happened. Ill see him tomorrow. thanks again.

Good news. As the owner of another S/V Alchemy, I am gratified in a number of ways to hear this.

I wonder if the same set of storms did in this other wrecked single-hander:

Call SAR? Nope, call your bartender.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
