Grand Bahama & Abaco

Does anyone know the average time it would take to get from West End GB to Great Sale Cay, then Great Sale Cale to Turtle Cay? 46' Sailboat with 5 1/2ft draft with plans to sail/motor. Can the 2 legs be made in daylight? Any thoughts on nice to sees in Abacos would be appreciated. We scuba. We have 10 days before getting back to Lucaya GB. Thanks.

You can do both legs during daylight hours - 1 day each. To get into Green Turtle you will need to be on a half rising tide but once in either sound (White or Black) there's plenty of water. There are fair weather anchorages outside the sounds. After Green Turtle you may want to go around the Whale down to Marsh Harbour, Great Guana, Hope Town, Lynyard Cay, Lubbers Quarters and others. Lots of great diving on ocean reefs in many of these places.
