Aruba Customs

Hi Yall,
Can anyone yell me what to expect when I pull into Aruba? I have flown there several times but have never sailed into port there. Are there any strange laws I need to know about? Is there anything I need other than normal boat and crew papers?
Thanx,
DNG

DNG:

Keep in mind that Aruba has established itself as a separate entity within the Dutch colonial system and therefore administers customs & immigration matters differently than either Bonaire or Curacao. We heard of no unusual circumstances on the SSB Nets from folks calling in there, altho'' most folks give it a miss on their way to Columbia or the Canal. We have no personal experience there but think we would have heard about clearance issues from others if there had been any.

Good luck on your passage.

Jack
