Boat Exchange Web Site...

Just completed a successful boat exchange in France with the web site Echange bateau, échanges bateaux, échanges voiliers, bateaux ŕ moteur seemysea.com. This relatively new site is based in western France (Brittany) where there are plenty of avid sailors. We actually did a home exchange with a family in western France on the English Channel and I wanted to get some sailing in while we were out there. You couldn't find a better group of enthusiastic and excellent sailors than the group I managed to hook up with. In my case, I just wanted to go with someone day sailing and offered to do the same for anyone who came to the US

Obviously, the sailing on the Engilsh Channel is awesome and at the same time, we managed to hook up with the Figaro race parade in a harbor called L'Aber Wrach. If any of you are going to France (other places as well), check out the opportunity to sail in really different waters.

Here are a few sailing pics and clips on my experience.
