Need an anchorage in Coos Bay

Anyone know of a good place to anchor somewhere in Coos Bay that is protected from north winds? Expecting a few days of crappy weather and I am stuck for the first time in Coos Bay and it's driving me crazy that nowhere in this huge bay seems to have any protection whatsoever from the north winds. Thanks for any help.

There is protection in the bay.. If you watch the depth, you can go through the bridge at the south end of the bay at Charlston.. you'll be in the park area.. you should be able to find a deep hole there to drop a hook..
Stay out of the channel for the crab boats comming and going to the work dock.........
