Geraldo''''s Cruise

Any of you folks view the TV show of Geraldo Rivera doing a sailing cruise? What did you think?

I thought it was well done. Never a fan of his but have changed my opinion. One thing that I still dont understand is why he didnt enclose that cockpit in some eisenglass and canvas, would have made all those cold wet passages more comfortable.

I believe he hired a captain. Gerry, you just can''t good camera shots with all that canvas in the way. Geraldo has to be in the thick of drama...its just good TV yah know.

Sometimes I wish we had a camera crew with us on occasion. Good for America''s Funniest Videos or Can You Believe It!

I liked Geraldo in his early days of TV, but like many began thinking of his style as exploitive. Once I found out he was a sailor and saw a couple of his trip, I started liking the guy for his sailing. I still don''t care for his reporting, the Old Geraldo was better.

I read the article. Seemed a bit suspicious to me. While I''m not a fan of GR the account
seems strange to say the least...and a bit too well written.
