How Long do you plan on staying? There are a number of Marinas you can live aboard, the closer you are to down town the more expensive. The Galleon comes to mind. Key West is not cheap....our boat is 36ft and when we go it is about $80 per day, but that is only a week at a time. I know you get price breaks for longer stays.

I plan on staying 4 to 5 months. I guess I moore out and pay for showers but I have a dog and It would be easier to just step out on a dock when she needs to go for a walk. The first price I got was $45 a foot. My Boat is 35 feet. Are slips more affordable in Marathon?

Virtually every where is more affordable than Key West. There''s a marina on Stock Island that may be a little better than the two on Key West. Jim
