Demopolis Yacht Basin

Anyone have experience with the Demopolis Yacht Basin on the Tenn- Tom waterway??? I need a bottom job and some other stuff next spring before going cruising. I heard that they let you do your own work and they seem to have good secure dry storage. I need to pull my mast and change my standing rigging and the engine checked throughly. I stopped there almost three years ago while going up river and the were nice and allowed us to use their courtesy car showers etc. The fuel I bought was good. But we did not need any repairs etc. My choices are basically Iuka ,MS or Demoplolis both about 150 miles from my home. Aqua Yacht Harbor won't allow you to do your own bottom. If DYB is a good spot I may store my boat there while not cruising. It is about 200 miles up the river from MObile. In our sailboat that is 4 10 hour days depending upon luck with bridges and locks etc..
