Alcohol available in Mexico?
I read recently, that when cruising Mexico, Alcohol might be difficult to come by. It seams that Kerosene is the fuel of choice in remote areas. I was thinking of installing an Orego alcohol stove before leaving for Mexico but now I'm not sure alcohol will be available. Anybody have experience in this regard?

Most hardware stores, even in foreign countries will have denatured alcohol available. That is all that is needed for an alcohol stove.

Alcohol is available in Mexico. Tequila, Beer, ... You name it, they have it.

Oh, you mean for the stove. Oh, I don't know about that.

I think some high proof Tequila could work in the stove and where you are going I bet you can get it cheep!
