HI - any cruisers out there know and can recommend a good doctor in Charlotte Amalie (or elsewhere in ST. THomas)? ON a sailboat, come down with the flu or something and need to see a doc and get some antibiotics for this horrible cough..... thank you so much,

I'm not sure about Charlotte Amalie but Red Hook Clinic in Red Hook (East End) is where I always went. They are really good people and always fixed me right up. I lived their for three years. The guy I saw was a retired navy doctor.

I second STTnbama's suggestion. The same doctors that operate the Red Hook clinic also have an office on the far eastern edge of Yacht Haven Grande (the marina in the harbor) that is located away from the water and towards the Wendy's but still in the YHG complex. Red Hook sounds great but it is just too far for me to drag myself, feeling like this - I will try the Yacht Haven Grande place, it's much closer, couldn't reach them on the phone but will wander over there later on. Many MANY thanks and no, it's not the peanut butter
