Okay, so now that we’re ready to begin the super colossal, extra special, and absolutely (dare I say?) – bad ass – breakdown portion of our cruise plans, we have, I believe, after great deliberation, decided on a very loose itinerary. Cape Canaveral to the Keys – possibly the Tortugas – and back. We plan to leave on best weather following March 15^th and we have to have the boat back home by May 15^th so I can return to the ship. We’re going to go slow and enjoy. It’s taken over 4 years of nothing else but putting the boat together and dreaming and now, we go. We draw 4’11” and are looking for any information anyone who has been there can give us. Thank you all, Mike & Eve

Congratulations Mike and Eve,

It must be nice to have it all worked out and finally be able to leave. I know what it is like to be in preparation mode for a long time, having to go along one day after the next taking care of things, all for some day in the future that you start to wonder if it will ever actually come. I know from experience - it is hard to live your life for tomorrow, it gets really old after a while.

I hope that you will enjoy your trip, you earned it! I honestly believe that things can work out, that you can do what is necessary and then reap the rewards, that the grass really is greener. There is a cow near here that gets out of the field sometimes through a hole in the fence, it is the only young cow that seems to be brave enough to do it, and it dines on tall lush grass along the road when all the other cows are eating picked over stubble!
