Newport anchor for folk festival

Does anyone know if it is okay to anchor off the state park in Newport, RI and watch and listen to the folk festival?

anchor off fort adams only during daylight hours. you can almost walk from boat to boat its so crowded. best to anchor off ida lewis yacht club and dingy over.

It will be a zoo, with boats of all sizes moving through the anchorage. If it is your desire to actually hear the music, leave the boat at home and buy a ticket.
