I think the main difference may be that we did not stay there overnight.
We went in to get fuel, breakfast, water; dump the holding tank; take a shower and use the facilities.... but only got fuel and water...
We skipped getting food and using the facilities when they told us that we couldn't use the showers or bathrooms, and were "welcome" to use the Porta-Johns.

We always stay in Utsches and they have always treated us excellent and like family. I am suprised to hear your report of them. The pump out there has not worked in over 4 years BTW.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
