Branford Ct. ?

I'm planning to go this weekend. Once before I anchored in the cove north of Big Mermaid, and rowed ashore. Then I left the boat on the beach, is there a public dinghy dock? or landing? I emailed the harbormaster, no reply. Go ahead and tell me I'm crazy to cruise this weekend. I already know it, my GF wants to go.

The only public dock is the one on the left entering after the anchorage, but I'm not sure if it's a dinghy dock.

There's still room to anchor there. We rowed to the public (fishing) pier which has a small float next to it. No signs sayinig not to tie up, so I locked the dinghy there and walked to town (over a mile, I think). No problems.
