Golf of Fonseca

Has anyone been to the Golf of Fonseca on the west coast of Central America? I normally cruise the Sea of Cortez but am thinking of taking a long trip down the west coast of Mexico. This Golf looks like a interesting place to stop and explore. I would like any info or reactions. Thanks

Steven

Steven:

Have you looked at past Latitude 38''s? They have written about this area several times, most often in the ''Changes in Latitudes'' monthly section. See if you can scrounge up some back copies from other boaters and take a look.
