cruising careers?

hi all.

I''ve reciently become less enamored of my current profression (programing) and would like to try to learn a skillset I can use to feedmyself and my boat while cruising. Anyone have any suggestions for trades that either go over well in a variety of foreign nations, or can easily be done from a boat?

Other thoughts on financing a cruise without waiting till I''m 65 and can sell a home I''ve not yet bought to pay for it?

Thanks

-- James

James, learn how to repair refrigeration, and trouble-shoot minor diesel problems and you''ll be able to survive anywhere.

Canvas work. sail repair and/or any canvas work is needed anywhere. If you have the sewing machine and supplies then you can work your way around the world. Least that is what I''m hoping for as I am doing the same thing.
