Winterpassage along the UK

I am just about to leave from germany for a slooooowwwwwlllllyyyy passage along the south of UK. Honestly I know it's not the total perfect season for this but I have the time to do it on a forecast by forecast basis over the next four month. That is: waiting for a few nice days to sail and stop as long as the conditions are bad.
Traveling slowly means alot of stopovers and as far as I remember UK marinas are not to be the cheapest. Over the month it will turn out to be a budget on its own... fortunately I am not the marina-guy so having a good mooring or nice anchorage is as welcome as all hints leading to these places I might like to sail to...

but who has them?

However, I have this book, and there is a lot to consider before using most of these anchorages: weather, tide, wind direction, headlands and more. Conditions being what they are in the winter here, using most of these anchorages could be a not-so-great idea.

Jaymayen! I hear ya man. If I had not gotten a slip untill March 31. I think I would still be heading down the east coast of the US right now. Keep us updated if you can and enjoy every min. of it. Take care Dan
