Used Charts

Does anyone know of a website where you can trade used charts?

I'm looking for A131 for the Caribbean. (Are classifieds against Sailnet policies? I was surprised when I couldn't find a classifieds forums -- I guess that might make sense as sailnet is trying to sell stuff!)

Once in a while good charts come up on Ebay and Craig's list. I was lucky and scored a huge set of charts from a couple that had just completed a transpacific sail to Australia. As an alternative, Bellingham Chart Printers have 2/3 scale B&W reproductions that are a huge savings.

mitiempo will become famous soon enough
Unfortunately the "free" chart site only covers the US and its holdings. As soon as you get north of the 49th parallel there's a big gap until Alaska shows up. Here's the link. NOAA's Office of Coast Survey

Hmmm I hadn't thought of that. There are NOAA charts for the area I'm after. Can you get them in PDF and just take them to kinkos or something? (not sure if that would be much cheaper or not!)

You can print them out from here. NOAA printable charts A friend printed them out and used them to go to Fla. Takes a lot of ink.
