Temp mooring or berthing on East Coast?

We need a spot to leave our ketch for a month Aug15-Sept15 between Montauk and Chesapeake Bay while traveling outside the US. Any recommendations for berthing or mooring at less than $1/ft/day? (We are not yacht club members, but would be willing to join.)
