Cruising the North Channel aboard s/v Island Bound

We plan to shove off early Monday (6/7/10) morning for the North Channel of Lake Huron, weather permitting. We're taking 3 months to enjoy our longest cruise to date. We're hoping the cruise gives us some insights into our more long distance and longterm cruising dreams. We're also eager to see how our two young kids handle 3 months on a small boat in some wilderness areas. You can follow our journey at Sailing s/v Island Bound

We finally made it to the North Channel after two weeks of sailing, motoring and sightseeing. I'm writing this post from Gore Bay. It's amazing to finally be out on a long cruise...
