greater Tempe lakes

i may be relocating to the tempe area, and wondered if any of you guys are out that way?
Im looking particularly at lake pleasant, saguaro or possibly roosevelt. it appears that roosevelt has the longest drive to tempe due to the cutout through the national park. saguaro has no lift crane which could be a bit tricky and is a bit smaller. pleasant looks like a pretty good bet.

any thoughts much appreciated.

I used to live in Phoenix and would say that the most boats are out on Lake Pleasant. Depending upon where in Tempe you live the drive out there is a long one, either through downtown or around Scottsdale. I used to fly over the lake every weekend and sometimes I could hear the party music or smell the ... party smoke... from 5000 feet over the Lake. It is mainly a powerboat crowd at all the lakes.

Saguaro Lake is rather small and Roosevelt is past Apache Junction, although you might get lucky and rediscover the Lost Dutchman's mine and then you could just buy a lake!
