Isla Mujeras

Looking for information about Isla Mujeras, Mexico. Have heard it is a good spot for cruisers. Any advice on marina''s/anchorages, best time to visit, etc.. would be helpful.

We plan on heading to Isla this fall. There is some good info in Rauscher''s guide and on Ithaka''s log in the cruising world site. I know that there are a few marinas and a great anchorage. Not sure about the best time, however, I believe this past Dec and Jan (Feb?) seemed to have quite a few periods of Northers. Anyhow we plan on starting in Isla and then spend the next year or two in the W. Carib. Good Luck John
