www.noonsite.com, jimmy cornell's old website that was bought out is a good starting point. That has customs information on most anyplace you'd be going. However, it isn't always 100% current, but gives you a good start on the right information.

Jimmy Cornell's World Cruising Routes is a good book to read and use as a basis for planning such a voyage as well.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Açores are Portuguese islands so the customs are exactly the same as in any EC country. They are quite laid back about it and all yachtmen are very well welcomed. Don't forget to go to Peter's for a drink or to try the Pico wine and the cheese from S.Jorge and from Terceira, specially if you like it spicy.

The Islands are very beautiful in a savage way and the Açoreanos are very nice people. Enjoy the stay and keep us posted

You have some information here:
