Hawk Channel

Hello,
I will be heading down to Duck Key in a couple of weeks from Miami and was wondering if any of the Gulfstream is present in Hawk Channel?
If so, what can on expect when heading South?

Gulf stream is several miles offshore from the Hawk Channel. The Hawk Channel is 'protected' from the Gulfstream by reefs, etc.

What can you expect? ... usually lots of crabtrap floats, especially from Key Largo / Rodriguez Key .. 'on down'.
