I am in George Town and I need a part!!!

Hello everybody!!!

I need an idea about what I can do.
I am in George Town, Exumas, and I need a belt for my autopilot.
I am going south, to DR.

Have anyone sent something by mail from USA to here or to Long Island?
Which service did you use?

Please tell me your experience or ideas!!!

Thanks

I lost my prop just north of Georgetown. My brother had a spare, and I sent my cruising paperwork, copies, to him. He came through customs with no problem. Possibly another cruiser has someone flying that can bring the belt. An auto parts may have something to get you through in a pinch. If there is a distributor in S. Fl. for your part. They will know how to get it to you also......i2f

Hey, way off subject but I have to ask. I was involved with an anti-drug op there in 87. Is the Peace O Plenty and the Two Turtles Inn still there?

Thanks,

Jerry
