La Paz marina's

I'll be heading south along Baja and into Sea of Cortez in a couple of weeks.
Plan on using La Paz as my home base while commuter cruising.

"Marina La Paz" is full. Costa Baja and Palmira have slips available, but both are outside of town.
Any recommendations & experiences with these two marinas?
